About Me
Cat Greenfield (AEA) is an actor, singer, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, puppeteer, model, voiceover artist, and puppetry director. Hailing from rural Virginia, Cat has made NYC her home for a decade and a half. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Christopher Newport University, and has made it her mission to learn and excel in as many vocal styles as possible. With a three and a half octave range and several pretty specific impersonations under her belt, she’s well on her way!
Cat has performed across the country (including Off-Broadway at the DR2, and regionally at such venues as Florida Studio Theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks, Oregon Cabaret Theatre, and The Fireside); at sea (with Disney Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Carnival Cruise Line); overseas (Universal Studios Japan), and toured internationally with Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train. Most recently, she originated the role of Eve in Disney Cruise Line’s most recent hit show, Remember, on the Disney Adventure in Singapore.
Cat has puppet directed and puppet consulted at The Fireside (Frozen), Farmers Alley Theatre (Avenue Q), Florida Studio Theatre (Hand to God), and Colgan High School for the Arts (The Little Mermaid).
As a multi-instrumentalist, Cat is skilled on the guitar, banjo, piano, autoharp, mandolin, uke, percussion, melodica, and is currently learning four more because why not?

Actor-Musician
Cat plays a variety of instruments, including: guitar, banjo, piano, uke, autoharp, mandolin, melodica, auxiliary percussion (bodhran, cajon, spoons, tambourine, shakers, etc.), basic trumpet, basic bass, and is currently learning four more instruments because… why not? She’s performed in Actor-Muso productions across the country. Select favorites include: Ring of Fire (Oregon Cabaret Theatre, LTOTS, Cortland Repertory Theatre); Guitar Girls (Florida Studio Theatre); Honky Tonk Angels (Summer Theatre of New Canaan); and Woody Guthrie’s American Song (Palm Beach Dramaworks). She helped develop and premiere Rockabilly Rumble at Bucks County Playhouse. Cat has been a bandleader for country, rock, and folk bands, and a frontwoman for jazz and Irish bands. She grew up in the bluegrass tradition, earned a degree in classical voice, studied Actor-Musicianship with Chris Blisset and Jeremy Harrison, and releases original music.
Puppeteer
Cat is a puppeteer with 16+ years of experience both in stage and film. She is a performer, puppet director, puppetry teacher, and puppet fabricator. Most recently, she developed and premiered the role of Eve for Disney Cruise Line’s newest hit show, Remember, and Tippy Blue for the first ever English language adaptation of the Duffy franchise, Duffy and the Friendship!
Some favorite roles include Blanche Devereaux in the Golden Girls Puppet Parody (Off-Broadway); swing for Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train (North American Tour); Kate/Lucy in Avenue Q (Farmers Alley Theatre); and Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense (The Fireside Theatre). Cat received training for Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train from John Tartaglia (Avenue Q OBC, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock); for Disney’s Remember by Jeff Conover (Disney Imagineering) and Tony Whitten (FOTLK/Finding Nemo); Avenue Zoo by Aymee Garcia (Avenue Q, Lazytown, Fraggle Rock); and Disney’s Villain’s Tonight by Tracie Mick (Sesame Street, The Muppet Show).
